INSTALLATION ANALYSIS

About

We focus on creating engineering solutions that overcome demanding environments and limit operational constraints.

We are dedicated to engineering innovation and use cutting-edge engineering software technology to analyse complex offshore operations. We are able to optimise engineering solutions to meet client needs, whilst ensuring efficiency and safety.

Our engineering team is highly competent and has significant industry experience.

We provide engineering and design support, verification, validation, planning and operational procedures for offshore and subsea operations.

Engineering solutions are tailored to meet your requirements and design services for bespoke equipment are available.

We can also offer independent review of projects as third-party verification / validation.

Product Installation Analysis

Marine dynamics analysis can be used to understand the hydrodynamic behaviour of product installation, such as infield and export cable deployment.

The influence of vessel motion on product integrity and positioning can be significant. Downtime frequently occurs due to compromise of integrity issues in the product or on the vessel, or overly conservative operational limitations being imposed, resulting in unnecessary vessel standby time.

Offshore Deployment Assessment

Marine dynamics assessments identify the limitations associated with the installation of offshore packages such as subsea ploughs, jetting tools, marine current turbines, gravity bases, wave energy converters, or other structures and equipment.

Lifting assessment can be undertaken in air, through the splash zone, in the water column and near the seabed. These studies lead to a detailed understanding of operational limitations from factors such as crane hook loads, lifting wire peak tensions, and rigging design and tensions.

In-Situ Assessment

Once structures or systems are deployed our engineering expertise can be used to ensure operational efficiency, design for performance improvement, or ensure systems can withstand environmental design load conditions.

We make use of a variety of analysis techniques, as well as having the benefit of experience in applying a wide range of design codes to ensure the right solution is adopted.
